Q What are the benefits of martial arts training?
Q Do I need to be fit to start training?
A. No. But by training martial arts, you will get fitter. But you do it in your own pace
Q Am I too old to start training?
A. No you are not, there is no maximum age, although those aged 66 and over will usually need a doctor’s note to obtain insurance. Martial arts training is suitable for virtually anyone, regardless of age, fitness level or disability.
Q I am a female. Is that a problem?
A. No, not at all. More females should pick up a martial art. Females sometimes pick up things faster than men

Q How often do i need to train?
A. This can vary but twice per week is recommended, as this maintains fitness and skill.
Q How is progress measured?
A. Gradings will be held twice a year . Requirements are laid down in the syllabus. A grade is called a Kyu. We have 7 Kyu grades in Aiki Jujitsu, 6 Kyu grades for Aikido and 6 Kyu grades for Ju Jitsu.
Q What are the costs for training?

Q What do I need for training?
A. The first couple of times you can wear track suit bottoms and T-shirt. Then you will be expected to buy a Gi (training suit). They come complete with Club LogoEmbroiderment and your name
Q Which martial art is best for me?
A. That is difficult to say. It is someones personal choice. But in reality it seems that from the martial arts we teach, Aikido is favourite with females, together with Aiki Jujitsu. But in all three, Aikido, Aiki Jujitsu and Ju Jitsu, I have incorparated Kyusho Jitsu and Dim Mak, which is the arts of pressure point fighting. Combined with this it makes the techniques more effective, especial for females. But best is to try all and then make your choice, or even practice two of them.
